Access Partner Guidelines

FogIXP allows its partners to resell FogIXP access. Interested Datacenter or Network operators may apply to become a FogIXP / iFog GmbH access partner.
The below guidelines should give a short overview what is needed and what is excepted from our access partners. These guidelines are in no way complete and determining access partner status is ultimately a decision made by FogIXP / iFog GmbH at our discretion.

Overall Requirements:
-Datacenter must be certified and have a public webpage with location and photos.
-Datacenter must feature redundant power, cooling and networking equipment.
-Access Partner must be a registered business and provide NOC support via Email and Phone escalation.

Connectivity Requirements:
-The Access Partner provides FogIXP / iFog GmbH with at least 1U, 50W for a switch.
-The Access Partner provides FogIXP / iFog GmbH with at least a 10G Wave (or non-mac-learning QinQ capable VLL) to the nearest FogIXP / iFog GmbH core location.

Connection Process of Customers at Access Partner:
-The Access Partner can connect its customer to the FogIXP switch. The Access Partner may charge the customer a fee if desired.
-A port request has to be made at FogIXP by the Access Partner, FogIXP issues IPs and VLAN details to the Access Partner and Customer.
-The first line of support for the access is provided by the Access Partner.
